Art in the Garden
Every year on the first Saturday in June, the Augusta Art Guild presents "Art in the Garden". This premier event takes place on the banks of the Ohio River with over 60 local and regional artists exhibiting along Riverside Drive.
Augusta, Kentucky – located 40 miles east of Cincinnati, Ohio and 90 miles north east of Lexington, Kentucky – is a small and extremely charming river town. With a waterfront that has changed little over the past few centuries, the river is the heart of Augusta. The 18th and 19th century houses lining Riverside Drive occupy the prize vantage points from which to enjoy the view. “Art” is truly in the “Garden” when you arrive at this unique venue.
This is a juried art show sponsored by the Augusta Art Guild. Applications are now available and can be downloaded here. The deadline for application submission is April 1, 2012.

Poster entries for 2012's "Art in the Garden" are due February 14, 2012. Only Guild members are eligible to submit.
Walking along Riverside Drive you can tour many of these wonderful gardens. The Augusta Ferry brings cars and people across the Ohio River everyday. During “Art in the Garden,” traveling on the ferry presents a picturesque view of Augusta. The Art Show also has a delightful children's venue every year. A wide array of food vendors are also part of "Art in the Garden.” Each year, the crowds have continued to grow. Last year, 3,500 people attended the art show.
Mark your calendars for June 2, 2012!
