AAG Gallery Hours
Gallery hours are Saturdays and Sundays, 12pm - 4pm.
Mike Enzweiler.PNG

For decades, Mike Enzweiler’s artwork has been greatly influenced by his concern about the excessive amount of waste generated by humans.

As a response, whether it’s nails, screws, paint and items saved from the landfills, Mike Enzweiler rarely buys new materials for his art, preferring to re-cycle and re-purpose whatever is already available.

Since 2008 when Mike Enzweiler created his first barn piece, the simple barn shape continues to influence much of his artwork to date.

The show will run through September 25, 2022.

Gallery hours are Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 pm.

Pam and carmen OCT 2022.PNG

Pam Adams, a visual artist living in Northern Kentucky, has a passion for painting in oils with a palette knife.  Mostly self-taught, Pam has studied with established artists in Kentucky, the Carolinas, Tennessee and Indiana. After 30 years as a professional photographer, Pam now uses her camera to capture the nuances of the changing light when “plein air” painting out in the fields.

An avid traveler, Pam searches backroads and small towns for inspiration. Each painting expresses a unique adventure and is a mission to preserve images and memories before they are lost in time.

This is what one of her clients feels about her painting:

I love your painting even more now that it hangs in my home.  Each time I look at it, it’s like a surprise, like I’m walking outdoors and have just come upon the barn.  I can’t put into words the feeling it evokes, but it fills me, and like a pleasant memory, makes me happy”.

Carmen Estrada is a contemporary fiber artist and clothing designer who recently moved to Augusta, KY from NJ. She first learned sewing, embroidery, and other stitching skills from her German mother.

A native of Brazil, her art reflects her childhood memories of exuberant colors she saw everywhere she looked: farmers markets, street festivals, fashion, buildings, and a lively people and culture.

Her interest in art and dress making led her to study Art History in Berlin, Germany and Fashion Design at FIDM in San Francisco, CA.

Only recently, since moving to KY, has Carmen returned to her love for sewing and textiles. She especially likes using natural fibers, repurposing recycled clothing and resurrecting old, stitched materials into modern fiber art collages.

The show will run through Sunday, October 30, 2022.

Gallery hours are Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 pm.
