Service Description

With Thanksgiving around the corner, these fun and festive little fabric pumpkins are the perfect DIY for your Thanksgiving table and home decor or to give away as gifts! In this hands-on, beginner friendly workshop, textile artist Carmen Estrada will teach you how to make unique fabric pumpkins using basic hand stitching. She will also show you how to embellish your pumpkin with simple embroidery and an assortment of yarns, ribbons and buttons!! There will be a choice of three pumpkin sizes and depending on your experience, you will be able to make 1 - 3 little pumpkins to take home! Workshop is open to all ages and sewing skill levels! There will be plenty of one-on-one assistance available!! Class fee includes all materials and supplies. Seating is LIMITED. Register today to save your spot! Instructor Bio: Carmen Estrada is a member of the Augusta Art Gallery and helps manage gallery exhibits and the AAG’s website. She is a mixed media textile artist with a degree in Fashion Design from FIDM in San Francisco. Carmen has taught sewing classes to children and adults at Kukas Fashion & Design School in Englewood, NJ.
