ABOUT THE AUGUSTA ART GUILD

Inspired by a group of artists, the Augusta Art Guild was formed in 1999.

Judy Federer (1937 - 2007), a life-long resident of Augusta, encouraged the creation of the Guild. Along with Judy, Mea Dewers (1932 - 2010) brought additional energy and direction to the Guild’s beginnings.

As the Guild grew, a permanent location in the historic river town of Augusta was established at 116 Main Street.

As a community-based non-profit 501(c)3 organization, our primary goal is to bring a deeper appreciation of the arts to our area.

By creating art, we give back to the community through exhibits, events, concerts, workshops, and scholarships. We believe that creativity should be a part of everyone’s life and the way we use this gift brings us together.

On the first Tuesday of the month, we meet to discuss upcoming events, business details, and goals for our guild. All are welcome to join us!
