ARTIST BIO: Marilyn has been painting about 25 years, Prior to painting, she was a graphic artist in Cincinnati. She is a long-time member and past president of the Augusta Art Guild in Augusta, Kentucky and has served as chair of Art in the Garden for more than a decade. She is also a member of The Ohio River Valley Art Guild in Maysville, Kentucky. She has displayed her paintings in a One Woman Show and a Two Woman Show in the ORVAG Gallery in Maysville, and in many shows in the Augusta Art Guild Gallery. She mostly works in oils, but has painted in acrylics, watercolor, and pastels. Landscapes and still lifes are her most often portrayed subjects. She especially enjoys painting local scenes.
